The Institute for the Habits of Mind has created the opportunity for your school to be recognised with the International Habits Of Mind Learning Community Excellence Award.
Schools that gain the Excellence Award will join a growing international community of educators who value the explicit teaching of thinking and learning and who develop the Habits of Mind across their school community.
The Excellence Award recognises that developing the Habits of Mind is not a destination or a list that can be ticked off, rather, it is a journey throughout lifelong learning. Therefore the Excellence Award is granted when schools show they have a commitment to embedding the Habits and have an implementation plan to achieve this vision.
